Overview

NegotiationEmail.com is designed from the ground up to collect as little data as possible. The email generator runs entirely in your browser — nothing you type is sent to our servers or stored anywhere. This privacy policy explains what we do and don't collect when you use this site.

Information we do not collect

The following information is entered by you in the generator but is never transmitted to us:

• Your name or personal details
• Your employer or company name
• Your current salary or target salary
• Job title or role information
• Any email content you generate

All generator logic runs client-side in JavaScript. When you close the tab, everything is gone.

Information we may collect

Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure may log standard server-side information when you visit:

• IP address (anonymized or truncated by our hosting provider)
• Browser type and operating system
• Pages visited and time spent
• Referring URL

This data is used only for aggregate analytics (understanding which pages are visited) and is not linked to any personal identity.

Cookies and local storage

We use localStorage to remember your light/dark mode preference. This data never leaves your device and contains no personal information.

Third-party services

We use Google Fonts to load the Inter and JetBrains Mono typefaces. When your browser fetches these fonts, Google's servers may log your IP address per their own privacy policy. We do not use advertising networks, tracking pixels, or social media embeds that collect data about you.

Data retention

Because we collect no personal data, there is nothing to retain or delete. Any server-side access logs are retained for up to 30 days for security purposes and then discarded.

Children's privacy

This service is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
